Studio Antics is made up of Tilly Robba and Steph Jowett, a directing and writing duo based in Sydney.
They wrote and directed the episode LESBIANS ON THE LOOSE on the ABC Original 3-part series KWEENS OF THE QUEER UNDERGROUND which was nominated at the 52nd International Emmy Awards. Their episode was also nominated at the Australian Directors Guild Awards and received the Audience Award for Best Short Film at the Mardi Gras Film Festival.
Tilly and Steph has garnered development support from Screen Australia twice for their animation series Single. The series' short pilot premiered at OutFest and the prestigious Iris Prize.
Their portfolio includes the short documentary DYKES ON BIKES: AN ORIGIN STORY, supported by Canon and premiered at CinefestOZ. Another of their works, the short film WINONA, had its premiere at the Palm Springs International ShortFest.
Studio Antics also ventures into the realm of music videos and commercial. They’ve worked with notable Warner and Sony Music artists, including Jessica Mauboy and Thelma Plum. Their music video LALAKI for BVT screened at SXSW Sydney and won Best Music Video at the FBi SMAC Awards. Moreover, they have directed campaigns for notable brands, including JD Sports, Adidas and Spotify.
